OVMPS Terms of Service

Welcome to OVMPS.com, a trusted multivendor eCommerce platform connecting buyers and sellers across Nigeria and beyond. By visiting or using our website, mobile app, or related services, you agree to abide by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before creating an account or making any transactions on our platform.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the “User,” “Buyer,” or “Vendor”) and OVMPS, governing your use of our services, features, and tools.

1. Account Registration

• You must be at least 18 years old to register or use any service on OVMPS.
• All users agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during account creation and maintain its accuracy thereafter.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• OVMPS shall not be held liable for any unauthorized access or actions performed using your account credentials.
• Users are encouraged to use strong passwords and to immediately report any suspicious activity or security breach.

2. User Conduct

By using OVMPS, you agree to act responsibly and respectfully toward others. Users shall not:

• Post, upload, or share any illegal, fraudulent, misleading, or offensive content.
• Upload or promote any content that is sexually explicit, abusive, defamatory, or discriminatory against individuals, ethnicities, religions, or social groups.
• Engage in activities that could harm, exploit, or interfere with the integrity of the OVMPS platform or its community.
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or manipulate the platform’s systems or data.

Violation of these rules may result in account suspension or permanent termination without notice.

3. Vendor Listings

• Vendors are required to list only legitimate and lawful products or services in compliance with Nigerian law and OVMPS listing policies.
• Items that are counterfeit, stolen, restricted, or infringe on intellectual property rights are strictly prohibited.
• Vendors must ensure that their product descriptions, prices, and images are truthful and accurate to avoid misleading buyers.
• OVMPS reserves the right to review, edit, or remove listings that violate our guidelines or appear suspicious.

4. Orders and Payments

• Payments made through OVMPS are processed securely using our approved payment partners.
• Orders are only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
• OVMPS may withhold or review transactions to prevent fraud, verify vendor authenticity, or ensure buyer protection.
• Buyers are encouraged to double-check product details before confirming their orders, as cancellations may be subject to vendor approval.

5. Shipping and Delivery

• Delivery times displayed on product pages are estimates and may vary depending on location, logistics, or vendor processing times.
• OVMPS collaborates with third-party delivery partners. We aim at 24hours to 3 workdays delivery for intra state, 3- 14 workdays delivery for interstate and 30 – 90 days for international delivery, but we cannot guarantee delivery timelines in all circumstances.
• Buyers are encouraged to track their orders and communicate directly with our support services for specific delivery inquiries.
• In cases of delayed delivery, OVMPS will assist in facilitating communication between buyers and vendors for resolution.

6. Returns and Refunds

• Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy available on the platform.
• Buyers must initiate a return request within the stated return period, ensuring that items are unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.
• Refunds are processed within 7–14 working days after the returned item has been received and inspected.
• Refunds may be rejected if the returned product shows signs of misuse, tampering, or policy violation.

7. Suspension or Termination of Account

• OVMPS reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate any user or vendor account found to be in violation of our terms, policies, or applicable laws.
• This action may occur without prior notice if we determine that a user poses a risk to our community or platform integrity.
• Users may also request voluntary account closure by contacting our support team.

8. Limitation of Liability

• OVMPS provides its platform and services “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.
• We are not responsible for any losses, damages, or disputes arising from vendor behavior, product quality, delivery delays, or third-party actions.
• Users acknowledge that transactions occur directly between buyers and vendors, and OVMPS primarily serves as an intermediary marketplace.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, OVMPS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

9. Rights to Use Your Content

• By uploading or posting any content (such as listings, descriptions, or media) on OVMPS, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute such content across our platforms and marketing materials.
• OVMPS reserves the right to edit, hide, or remove any content that violates these Terms, infringes intellectual property rights, or is deemed inappropriate.
• You retain ownership of your content, but you agree that OVMPS may continue using it for operational or promotional purposes even after your account is closed.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

• These Terms of Service are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
• Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved amicably through negotiation or, if necessary, by the competent courts within Nigeria.

11. Updates to These Terms

• OVMPS may modify these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business operations, legal requirements, or user feedback.
• Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised Effective Date, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
