OVMPS Affiliate Marketers (OAMs) are authorized independent representatives who help promote the OVMPS platform, assist vendors with registration, onboarding, listing support, and basic business guidance.
This Vendor–Affiliate Policy governs the relationship between vendors and OVMPS Affiliate Marketers (OAMs) to ensure transparency, professionalism, and mutual respect at all times.

OVMPS Affiliate Marketers are not employees or official staff of OVMPS. They operate as independent partners under our affiliate framework.
All payments, including subscriptions, promotional fees, renewals, or commissions, must only be made through the official OVMPS platform — never directly to an affiliate marketer.Any affiliate marketer requesting on-site or direct payments should be reported immediately to OVMPS support at support@ovmps.com.
Vendors who make payments outside the platform do so at their own risk, and such actions may attract legal and account penalties.
1. Overview
- OVMPS Affiliate Marketers (OAMs) are appointed to connect vendors to OVMPS, assist with registration, listings, and business growth.
- Their role is advisory and promotional — they do not handle payments or financial transactions.
- OAMs may visit vendors based on their subscription plan, number of support visits allowed, or as otherwise approved by OVMPS.
- Both vendors and OAMs are required to maintain confidentiality of all business and customer data obtained through OVMPS.
2. Vendor Obligations
Vendors working with OVMPS Affiliate Marketers agree to the following:
- Account Security:
- Vendors are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials, even if registration was assisted by an affiliate marketer.
- Vendors must promptly update their passwords after registration or support sessions.
- Accurate Information:
- Vendors must provide correct business, tax, address, and contact information to the affiliate during onboarding or verification.
- False information may result in account suspension or verification failure.
- Logistics and Security During Visits:
- When an affiliate is scheduled to visit, vendors must ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
- Vendors may cover reasonable logistics or transport costs when applicable, but no payment for subscription or promotion should be made to the affiliate.
- Professional Conduct:
- Vendors must treat OVMPS affiliates with respect, avoiding abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior.
- In cases of conflict or misconduct, vendors should report the issue immediately to OVMPS via official channels.
- Preparedness:
- Vendors should have all required materials and tools ready before an affiliate visit to ensure smooth operations (listing updates, maintenance, or verification tasks).
3. OVMPS Affiliate Marketers Obligations
All registered OVMPS Affiliate Marketers agree to uphold the following responsibilities:
- Vendor Assistance:
- Assist vendors in registration, onboarding, or verification only when requested or officially assigned by OVMPS.
- Provide basic guidance on product listings, updates, and use of vendor tools.
- Professional Visits:
- Be punctual, courteous, and professional during vendor visits.
- Carry valid OVMPS identification (digital or physical) when visiting any vendor premises.
- Policy Enforcement:
- Communicate OVMPS’s latest policies, terms, and codes of conduct to vendors.
- Report any vendor violations or suspicious activities to OVMPS promptly.
- Compliance and Ethics:
- Never request or accept cash or electronic payments for any subscription, listing, or promotional service.
- Conduct activities strictly through official OVMPS systems.
- Conflict Resolution:
- Help mediate disputes between vendors and customers when necessary, but final resolutions remain at OVMPS’s discretion.
- Performance Reporting:
- Monitor and submit reports on vendor performance, activity, and compliance with OVMPS guidelines.
- Adherence to Platform Rules:
- Comply fully with all OVMPS Terms of Service, Vendor Agreement, Privacy Policy, and ethical standards.
4. Confidentiality and Data Protection
- Both vendors and affiliate marketers must protect all confidential information shared during registration, verification, or support sessions.
- Any unauthorized disclosure or misuse of vendor or customer data will lead to immediate disqualification, account termination, and possible legal action.
5. Violation and Enforcement
- Any vendor or affiliate found violating these policies may face disciplinary measures, including:
- Account suspension or termination.
- Loss of affiliate status.
- Legal or financial liability for misconduct.
- OVMPS reserves the right to audit, investigate, or revise affiliate and vendor activities at any time to maintain trust and transparency across the platform.
6. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and any other applicable eCommerce or affiliate marketing regulations.
All disputes shall be resolved amicably where possible, or through competent courts within Nigeria.
